Our Favorite Educational Links for Kids

These are some of our family's favorite fun and educational websites for kids!  I began compiling this list so my kids could find their favorite sites without weeding through a bunch of questionable content first.  The websites listed have been carefully selected, but content can change unexpectedly.  Please be wise!  If you know of any other fun sites that we should check out, let us know!

• Classics for Kids- Wonderful music website featuring the Composer of the Month audios, Activities, and Music Appreciation!
• Cool Math 4 Kids- one of our favorites!
• Daily Spelling Bee- Challenge yourself!
• Free Typing Lessons and Games-- Learn those keyboarding skills! (Note: You can use the site without creating an account. Also, there are ads on this site, but so far I have not observed anything objectionable. Let me know if you see something!)
• Fun Brain- Fun, educational games for a variety of subjects. "Playground" section is especially fun for little ones!
• Fun Facts for the 50 states- flowers, birds, etc.
• HubbleSite- Explore Astronomy and find out what is happening in the night sky this month!
